Half-Elf Paladin 5th level

Balthazar was born into a modest family within the merchants quarter of the city of Lankhmar. Although his childhood was happy and stable with well provisioned food stocks, certain factions of the city shunned him for his elvish heritage.

Fuelled by discrimination the townsfolk were slowly turned by the seeping evil that took hold of Lankhmar. At the young age of twelve Balthazar’s family were slaughtered by an underground cult of humans who worshipped a dark deity who is still unknown to him.

In the ensuing carnage, Balthazar managed to escape by killing his first ever devotee of evil. On fleeing to the nearby outcrops on the fringes he was intercepted by a holy agency of rescue who called themselves the servants of Tyr. After some initial resistance the servants were able to subdue Balthazar and bring him to the temple that lay upon the mountainous slopes. There, he was raised and skill honed to become a fellow servant of good to exact eternal retribution as an acolyte of Tyr.

After completion of his long arduous training he now ventures into the free world on task to upturn embedded evil and unleash his wrath with the ever present undercurrent of vengeance that threatens to derail his path of leaden virtues.

Balthazar currently carries the following magical items:
